About Us

We, Mary Chapman & Will Sissle, have dedicated our professional lives to seeking out the most delicious foods we can find, and then sharing those finds with the people around us. In 2018, we opened The Cheese Shop of Portland to bring these fine foods to the Greater Portland community. In 2024, after the birth of our two daughters, Hattie and Tess, we decided it was time to rebrand The Cheese Shop as Sissle & Daughters Cheesemongers & Grocers. We are humbled to continue to serve our beloved community!
